Since I keep saying that I spend more time away than at home, I come with proof in the form of pictures!

... Actually it's more of a way to share some pictures from my shiny new Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I'm in LOVE.

Most of the pictures are from Shiloh National Park. I also fell in love with taking black and white shots. Obviously.

Here's my Supernatural picture. I just... It reminds me of some spooky graveyard that we'd see in Supernatural. Sadly, the boys weren't off to the side all sweaty and digging a hole. Woe.

I've loved going to this cabin since I was a kid. It's overlooking Sarah Bell's orchard. During the civil war it was supposedly in bloom and when the bullets sliced through the trees the petals fell like snow.

As I knelt down to take a photo of this, some genius asked me if he was a relative. It took all of the power in my being to be nice instead of a smartass. I wanted SO badly to tell her yes, that Mr. Soldier was my great great great grandfather and that we called him Unk for short. *blankstare*

Tuttle monument had a turtle walking by it. I got the biggest kick out of it and had to take a picture.

Yes, yes. Facing the sun but massive and pretty.

More pretty. (Am I crazy for thinking that cement is pretty?)

I also think that cemeteries are pretty. Maybe I've watched too much Buffy in my lifetime.

CANNONS ARE PRETTY TOO, DAMNIT.

This is one of my favorite ones.

I don't know. Fence?

There's the little cabin from the first cabin picture. Isn't it cute? Yeah, crazy. Shut up.

I LOVE THIS LITTLE BUILDING. It isn't in Shiloh but I still thought it was the cutest little thing. I'd live there.

I'm off to see Ocean's 13. Shush.

I have a new shiny Rebel XTi also...I love it. I haven't had time to play with it as much as I'd like but I love it. :) I am going to try to dedicate this weekend to playing with it, and getting out of the house to take pictures. We have quite a few run down small cemeteries around here that would be awesome to photograph. ;)

And that first picture...I totally read that as Dean, not Doan...but I wouldn't expect any less from myself. lol.

*squeely noise* these are AMAZING! Wow! That last house is the most quaint little place! Love!

Mr. Soldier was my great great great grandfather and that we called him Unk for short.

LMAO omg. That is hilarious ♥

Cemeteries are one of my fav. things to take pictures of (I prefer B&W, also) not because it's all "dark and goth" but because it's one of the most quiet serene places and old headstones are the most beautiful things. I also hope that something paranormal will show up in my film XD (notice I didn't use the word 'supernatural' to refrain from soundling like TOO much of a dork.)

GREAT photography!!

You know how much I love graveyard pics, right? Wait. I don't think I've ever told you that, and yet I'm sure you still know it.

I'm so glad you finally posted this, Jules! They look incredible, seriously. *mwah*

*admires you and your photography skillz*

Jules! I also fell in love with taking black and white shots. Obviously. I love black and white, I think it brings a clean simplicity and dramactic touch to pictures, especially with the subjects you choose. Canons are pretty damnit.

Very pretty! As for the first one, I think you just weren't looking hard enough. Sam and Dean are at every cemetary, all the time. Bad fangirl.

Those are some mighty fine pictures!

I can't wait to see you! And just so you know I called off work for 2 weeks. One for when your visiting and the other so I can have a week at your house. How awesome am I? I'm sorry it couldn't be for longer, I wanted to go to Cali damnit! But that's all I could work out.

See you soooon <3

Dude...that is a very pretty cemetery. I cannot believe I just wrote that.
Are you feeling inspired from the pretty pictures to go write some fanfic? *hint hint nudge nudge*
It's been nice to hear from you sweetie!
